Surf 'n' Suds Beer Festival August 15

Deep, the surf magazine, presents the third annual Trek Bikes of Ventura Surf 'n' Suds Beer Festival. It will take place on Linden Field at Carpinteria State Beach. This surfing-themed afternoon event will feature products of more than 55 breweries and wineries. Local surfboard shapers will be on hand, live bands and DJs will perform, food will be available for purchase, and boards will be on display. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. Proceeds will go to several local charities.
Taste of Brews August 22

Taste of Brews takes place at Shoreland Aquatic Park. This afternoon event features beer from more than 55 breweries, many of them from California. There is live music, and food available for purchase.
Festival of Dankness August 22
San Diego, CA
Modern Times Beer presents the inaugural Festival of Dankness, which will take place at San Diego Waterfront Park. This afternoon event will feature new-wave hoppy beers from more and 30 craft breweries, many of them from California. Brewers will be in attendance, and food trucks and merchandise vendors will be at the park. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available.
Mira Mesa Festival of Beers August 22
Mira Mesa, CA
The fourth annual Mira Mesa Festival of Beers will be held at Community Park. This afternoon event will feature more than 50 craft beers. There will be live music on the San Diego CityBeat stage, along with food and merchandise vendors. VIP tickets, with early admission, are available. Proceeds will benefit the Mira Mesa Chamber of Commerce.
Sausage and Beer Festival August 22-23
Cherry Valley, CA
Highland Springs Resort, in Cherry Valley, will host its sixthSausage & Beer Festival. This two-day event will feature beer from around 25 breweries from the Inland Empire and surrounding areas. There will be live music, gourmet sausages made in-house, games, and contests. Admission and parking are free.
Ready, Set, Growl Beer Festival August 23
Santa Rosa, CA
The second annual Ready Set Growl Beer Festival will be held at Juilliard Park in Santa Rosa. This afternoon event, which follows the Santa Rosa Marathon, will feature beer from more than 40 breweries, including hard-to-find Heady Topper beer. Festival-goers will also received a 32-ounce custom growler, and Sonoma County vendors will be giving out food samples.
