It's a county fair. It's a beer festival. It's both! The beer festival is held only three days during the month-long San Diego County Fair but your ticket gets you into one of the liveliest events the annual fair has to offer. It includes live bands performing, a shaded tent area so you don't pass out from heat stroke (not that it should be a problem--Del Mar sits next to the Pacific Ocean with temps hovering in the 70s.) Last year close to 11,000 people attended the three day event held at the Fairgrounds in Del Mar. It includes 5 sessions and 400 beers.
